    JOHANN BERGL GARTEN Theme Trail | Klein-Mariazell

    In the garden next to and behind the basilica in Klein-Mariazell there is a themed trail with eight stations through the life and work of the Bohemian-Austrian baroque painter Johann Bergl . In the basilica you can also admire his large cycle of frescoes on the life of Mary , accompanied by explanations of the contents and programme of the pictures.     Historischer Rundweg | St. Corona/Schöpfl

    Durch die ehemalige Holzhauersiedlung des kaiserlichen Wienerwalds führt ein Themenweg zur Geschichte dieses wunderbaren Fleckens Erde. Erfahren Sie spannende Geschichten zur Besiedelung im 17.     Maria im Heilsplan Gottes | Wallfahrtskirche Hafnerberg

    Ignaz Mildorfer (1719-1775), Schüler Paul Trogers, schuf 1744 sein erstes großes eigenständiges Werk an der Decke der Kirche Hafnerberg. Das zentrale Programm des Freskos ist, den Heilsplan Gottes für die Erlösung der Menschen und die Rolle Mariens darin zu zeigen. Es ist aber auch ein einzigartiges Dokument der damaligen Zeitgeschichte. Vier Aufsteller mit grafischen Erklärungen helfen dabei, sich in diese Geschichte zu vertiefen.

    PEILSTEIN Adventure Trail | Nöstach

    The Peilstein has been a popular climbing paradise for a long time and is known far beyond the borders. Starting from Nöstach 16 stations lead along the approx. 5.5 km long themed trail to the Peilstein. Numerous information boards line the way to the summit and give an insight into the world of climbing. The mascot "A. Daxl “tells interesting things about climbing plants, which special holding mechanisms climbing animals such as lizards have evolved and much more. Many interactive stations and elements of motion provide variety and ensure that children do not get bored.

    Museum of Local History, Kaumberg

    In addition to the development of the market town, the focus of the museum is the Araburg and its owners, as well as the history of the Niederösterreichische Südwestbahn ( Leobersdorfer Bahn) as a permanent exhibition from the planning, the construction and operation up to the partial closing of the track.

    TRIESTINGTALER HEIMAT- und REGIONALMUSEUM | Weissenbach

    In the Local and Regional History Museum of the Triestingtal a treasure of more than 10,000 objects from the entire region is preserved and presented. Thematically, the arch spans from the beginning of the industrial age at the end of the 17th century with the foundation of the mirror factory in Neuhaus up to the present day. Well-known manufacturers are presented as well as great daughters and sons, artists, writers, actors, athletes, painters and inventors. A specialty is a complete dental practice from around 1900.

    Wood Drift and Forest Museum in Schöpfklause

    Located in the middle of the largest contiguous forest area of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Park, the museum paints a lively picture of the timber and forestry industry in the region. Particular attention is paid to the timber glut of the 17th century and the necessary drift systems. Apart from that, the surrounding, largely untouched nature invites you for a visit.
